DhanSutra — Account deletion

App: DhanSutra
Developer: Nepalabs (Pratap Sharma)
Contact: iam@pratapsharma.io

This page describes how to delete your DhanSutra account and what happens to your data. It is provided for users and for app store (e.g. Google Play) account-deletion requirements.

How to delete your account

  1. Sign in to DhanSutra.
  2. Open Profile (or your account/settings area).
  3. Use Delete account (or equivalent in the Danger zone / account section).
  4. Confirm when prompted.

Your session ends and your account is removed from our systems as described below.

Option B — By email

If you cannot use the app (e.g. lost access), email iam@pratapsharma.io from the address associated with your account. Include:

  • Subject line such as: DhanSutra account deletion
  • Your registered email (and any details needed to verify you own the account)

We will process verified requests within a reasonable time.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted:

  • Your authentication account is removed.
  • App data tied to your user is removed, including data stored for portfolios, watchlists, and profile/account records associated with your user, in line with our database design (data linked to your user is deleted with the account).

What may be retained (limited cases)

  • Short-term backups: Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period, then age out.
  • Legal or safety: We may retain minimal information if required by law or to protect rights and safety, as described in our Privacy Policy.

After deletion

You may create a new account later with the same or a different email; it will be a new account with no restored history from the deleted account.
